Kuan Yin is a Goddess of compassion, love, healing, and abundance. She represents Bodhisattva and guides us to release judgments about self and others and focus on the love and light within us. Originating in India and brought to China in the fifth century, Kuan Yin was first worshiped in a male form known as Avalokitesvara. She is often depicted with both male and female attributes. She demonstrates an intention to nourish the world with love and represents the power of kindness.
